I've proudly joined Run4Geelong 2024 as a community ambassador!
This year I have proudly joined Run4Geelong as a community ambassador for the Barwon Health Foundation!
I can't wait to join the flood of red t-shirts descending on the Geelong Waterfront on the 10th November, racing to support our local health service Barwon Health. 100% of my registration and fundraising donations will support the Geelong Hospital Andrew Love Cancer Centre. The Andrew Love Cancer Centre has provided world class cancer treatment and care to many of my loved ones since opening in 1992. The highly skilled health professionals in our Barwon South West region deserve all the donations we can to continue to provide personalised treatment to those in critical need.
The course I am choosing to take part in is the 10km Hanlon Industries run/walk, but there are many other distances available and furry friends are welcome! Many of you know me from my fitness journey at either Upstate Geelong or F45 Geelong West. I'll be trading in my pilates mat and Reebok Nano's a couple of days a week to start running and training for this event on 10th November. If anyone would like to join me in an early morning session please reach out I would love to have you alongside me!
I will be using all of my resources over the following months as a Director of Wharf Shed Geelong and The Commo Hotel to reach my fundraising target of $5,000. That's $500 for every km of running.
