IMPACT Breakfast 2019
On Friday 6th September, the Barwon Health Foundation hosted the Inaugural IMPACT Breakfast, an event to celebrate the impact of charitable giving to Barwon Health.
The Impact Breakfast provided an opportunity for us to stop, pause, reflect and thank the people who made it possible to raise over $5million last financial year (yes $5million!) to invest in our local health service - so that all of us here in the Barwon region have access to the very best public health service.
Guests heard from an expert panel including –
- Dr Bruce Bartley from the Emergency Department
- Alyson Smith from the Special Care Nursery
- Steve Moylan from Mental Health
- Jan Tarrant from the Chemotherapy Dayward
- Jacqui White from Palliative Care
It’s not every day that we get the opportunity to share breakfast with 130 people who have that exceptionally special sense of community and philanthropy, and who have gone above and beyond to support the work of Barwon Health. It was a real honour to be in the same room with such inspiring people and we look forward to coming around to thank you all personally.
Many people living in our region have attended our hospital or health service for urgent, lifesaving care and, for those who haven’t, we hope you find comfort in knowing that Barwon Health is here for us – every minute of every single day.
