Geelong mothers put on great event to support Barwon Health’s Children’s Ward

Emma Moore and Bek Seabert joined forces to put on an event to celebrate and support the staff and services of the facilities who care for their children Albie and Tulli.

The event held in August at The Federal was in support of the Royal Children’s Hospital, the Kids Plus Foundation and Barwon Health’s Children Ward.

At 6 days old Albie had already spent half of his life in an induced coma, undergone three bowel surgeries and was about to have the first of three eight-hour open-heart surgeries.

Albie was born with a cluster of birth defects and continues to face a myriad of challenges.

Tulli, aged 6 has an undiagnosed condition that has rendered her unable to walk or talk and in need of 24-hour care at her purpose built home.

Emma and Bek put together a live auction event “Help 4 Little Heroes” to support three major services that look after Albie, Tulli and their families.

The event was an amazing success and raised over $31,000

Earlier in the month Bek, Emma and Tulli visited the Children’s Ward at University Hospital Geelong and presented Nurse Unit Manager Sandra Van Roon with a cheque for $10,000.
